Customs warehousing

Many of our clients who are importing goods, take advantage of our customs warehouse service. As an approved Customs Known Warehouse, clients benefit from the following when storing with Flightstore under the Customs Warehouse Procedure

• The payment of import duty and VAT on imported goods can be delayed indefinitely
• Payments of import duty and VAT can be deferred for up to a further 45 days for goods that are imported, warehoused and distributed within the same EU country
• Import duty can be deferred for up to a further 45 days with no VAT to pay for goods imported, warehoused and distributed to another EU country
• There is no import duty nor VAT to pay on goods imported and exported outside of the EU
• Reduced import duty and VAT is paid on revalued goods
• Quality control checks can be carried out on imported goods without the payment of import duty and VAT
• Payment of VAT can be deferred until the goods are released (sold on)

In addition to storing your goods with us, we can work with your nominated freight forwarder/agent or we can offer freight forwarding through our worldwide partenerships with freight agents or forwarders.
